About Us

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Office of Student Services Campus and Community Relations is to direct and coordinate the efforts of the University and community coalition to enhance the safety, health, and civility of the campus and community environment through initiatives to curb the harmful effects of alcohol and substance abuse and physical and sexual assaults through educational programs, policy research and recommendations, community/campus taskforce actions, and promotion of campus and community programs.

Partners:

Some of our partners are listed below. We partner with others to provide education programs for students, for example AlcoholEdu, which was a collaborative effort among many different University departments, policy research and handbooks on alcohol, and informative websites for the entire community, such as the Off-Campus Living Guide. We collaborate across campus and within the community with a variety of departments and organizations in order to create a safer and healthier environment in which everyone can live, work, learn, and have fun.
