Glossary

fabricating:

Making, creating, or constructing.

façade:

The face of a building. An artificial or deceptive front.

facilitate(d):

To make easy or easier.

factional opposition:

Disagreement within an organized or related group.

fatuous:

Foolish.

fecundity:

The ability to produce offspring, especially in abundance; productiveness.

filial piety:

Respect and reverence for one's parents and extended family.

filigree:

An intricate, delicate, or fanciful ornamentation.

finial(s):

An ornament fixed to the peak of an arch or to the top of a staff.

flanked:

To be placed or situated at the side of.

foibles:

Weaknesses or failings of character; faults.

foliate:

Of or relating to leaves.

formal clarity:

The form of the object(s) is clear and the subject easily recognizable.

fortitude:

Strength of mind that allows one to endure pain or adversity with courage.

fraternity:

An organization of males.

funerary:

Relating to a funeral or burial.
