Background:
I came to Iowa in the fall of 2005 with BAs in Anthropology and English/Technical Writing from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington, and an MA in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. My interests include comparative anatomy, functional morphology, and human evolution. In my current work I am particularly interested in the changes in the postcranial skeleton that lead to a modern human bipedal gait, with a focus at the moment on pedal osteology.
