About Big Brothers Big Sisters @ Iowa

Big Brothers Big Sisters @ Iowa is a student organization that was created 4 years ago. Its main purpose is to connect the University of Iowa community with the mission and activities of Big Brothers Big sisters of Johnson County. With this said, please note that the student organization is not a part of the actual program itself. It helps recruit students to become a part of their community-based program and/or school-based programs.

Many of the organization’s goals consist of:
- Creating events for Bigs and Littles to participate in, while giving students volunteer opportunities
- Building relationships and skills
- Assisting Johnson County in Bowl For Kids Sake by partaking in the Prize Patrol Committee
