By no means a typical break-up tale, SITA SINGS THE BLUES is an animated film that pits two vastly different break-ups (one being the goddess Sita’s estrangement from the god Rama, the other a falling out between present-day couple, Nina and Dave) against each other in highly stylized and jazzy fashion. SITA SINGS THE BLUES is almost universally loved by critics, being called “an almost indescribable pleasure” by the BOSTON GLOBE.
