General Information
Objectives and Focus
CBB conference, 2008, will be held on Oct. 21. This year's theme is "Metabolic Engineering and Enzyme Applications". Given the resurgence of bio-based production of fuels and chemicals worldwide, we have assembled experts in the field from both industry and academia. Speakers will address "insilico and "experimental" approaches to production of chemicals ranging from biofuel to pharmaceutical intermediates. There will also be an update on CBB offerings and future direction. In addition, a wide range of topics will be covered in the poster session, where we anticipate more than 50 posters. We expect to offer an intellectually stimulating experience.
