Fixed Route Cambus Service

Routes & Schedules of Service Currently Accessible
To Persons With Disabilities Including Persons Using Mobility Aids Provided by Buses Equipped With Wheelchair Lifts
in the Front Entrance
ACCESSIBLE FIXED ROUTE SERVICE
Cambus has all fixed route buses equipped with front
step wheelchair lifts, thereby, making them accessible for use by persons
with disabilities. These vehicles allow Cambus to provide 100% accessible
service.
NO FARES
Cambus does not charge a fare to ride and its services
are available to the general public. Cambus is a prepaid system funded
in part by student fees. Students, faculty and staff may contribute additional
money by checking "Cambus" on the optional fee cards which are distributed
each year. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP
Providing accessible fixed route service is new for
Cambus so we have much to learn. It is difficult to plan for all circumstances,
so we ask for your assistance. Your input on how we are doing and what
we can do better is much appreciated.
It is our goal to continually improve the safety
and quality of our service. It is through your cooperation and input that
we can best accomplish this.
BUS STOPS
All Cambus stops are marked by signs. Riders may
board and exit only at these designated stops. This insures the safety
and reliability of the service.
TIME AND SCHEDULE
Cambus drivers' watches are set at the time established
by the Cambus office. Slight variations from your time may occur. The drivers
make every effort to safely operate on schedule, however, many unavoidable
factors impact this ability (e.g. weather, traffic). Your understanding
of these factors is appreciated.
