Advanced Microscopy is designed to allow participants creative exploration in the application of advanced microscopy methods for their own research needs. Laboratories will be individualized to particular instrumentation and techniques application for individual research. Participants need a reasearch proposal, prepare & present a detailed talk on a new microscopy technique, and give a formal presentation at the end of the semester.

Prerequisites: Established research project, previous biological science courses, introductory microscopy course and consent of the instructor.
