Iowa Microscopy Society is a non-profit affiliate of the Microscopy Society of America (MSA). The goals of this organization are to bring together researchers of all disciplines interested in microscopy to exchange ideas and information. To that end, IMS hosts an annual symposium with an emphasis on a variety of microscopy-related topics. In addition, IMS publishes a periodic newsletter for its members.
