Creating a New Account on the Zeiss 510 Confocal Microscope

1. Log on to the computer using any existing University of Iowa account.
2. Open the Regrights folder on drive C:.
3. Double click both files to enter the following settigns into the user registry.
4. Open Zeiss software and follow these directions:

1. Click Maintain tab on toolbar.
2. Click Set Find tab.
3. Check both boxes here.
4. Change this value to 200%.
5. Click "All" button and close button.

6. Click Options tab on toolbar.
7. Click Settings button.
8. Select Recording/Reuse tab.
9. Deselect Zoom and Rotation, Offset and Objective check boxes.

10. Select Timeseries tab.
11. Under Time Control, deselect "Cycle Delay" and select "Time Interval".

12. Select Save tab.
13. Select at "Create Database" automatically...
14. Make sure the Save prompt, Warning, and Remember "Name" boxes are all checked.
