Events

The Civic Engagement Program offers a number of different events throughout the academic year. Each semester, the CEP partners with the Office of Student Life, University of Iowa Student Government, and the 10,000 Hours Show to present the UI Volunteer Fair which typically brings over 75 local community organizations to campus.  The CEP also offers local service opportunities linked to national days of service including Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service and Make A Difference Day.  CEP works with student groups and university departments to develop other community service opportunities.
