- Each TA in the Department of Communication Studies
is allocated 25 copies for each student in his/her class(es). You
may use these copies for syllabi and other handouts as needed throughout
the semester.
If you have copies made at any of the University's copy centers, we will automatically deduct the number of copies made there from your department allocation unless you advise us otherwise.
For copying of exams, please bring your exams to the main office to be copied at least three (3) working days prior to the test. The office will arrange to have all the copies made for you.
Additional copies are available at .10 cents a piece. Check in the main office for further information

- Douglas H. Ehninger Department Teaching Award
- The Department of Communication Studies annually awards one outstanding GTA with this honor. Nominations are due around March 1st of each year.
- U of I Outstanding TA Award
- The University of Iowa Council on Teaching provides annual awards of $1000 to outstanding TA’s in the University. Nomination materials are due around February 20th each year.
