FORMS Bulk mail Zip-Code recording form: The Iowa City and Cedar Rapids Post Offices require certain information to process hand-sort mailings. This form will help you accurately and thoroughly record that information. (12K Excel file) Mail-code card: Use this form to request a card printed with your department's nine-digit mailing number and corresponding bar code. We require that the cards be attached to incoming bundles of mail, to allow us to scan the information on them for billing. (34K Word file) THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA BUILDINGS Abbreviations: One- to four-letter abbreviations of UI building names, expedites Campus Mail deliveries. Addresses: Mailing addresses approved by the U.S. Postal Service for UI buildings. Locations: Street names and numbers for locating University of Iowa buildings. Building inventory: Official listing of UI buildings, sortable by name, abbreviation, address, building number. U.S. POSTAL SERVICE 2008 rate change information: New rates, current rates. 2007 rate change information: Frequently asked questions (.doc), Weight-shape classifications (.pdf). Mailing information: Addressing and endorsements. Locational abbreviations: Standard abbreviations for buildings, directions, geographic features, and thoroughfares. State abbreviations: Standard, two-letter abbreviations for U.S. states and territories. USPS on the web: Links to information for mailers, including rates, international and priority mail, publications, tracking, and zip-code lookup.
