UI Learning and Development Resource Center
History
In the mid-1980's the lending library began with one bookshelf of pooled resources. It has since continued to grow with now over 1200 pieces (with many bookshelves!).
Donations
If you have books, audio's, or videos that you'd like to donate to the center, please campus-mail them to UI Learning & Development, 121-51 USB. If you have questions, please contact UI Learning & Development at 335-2687.
Check Out Procedures
If you would like to check out materials from our Resource Center, e-mail uilearndevelop@uiowa.edu or call (33)5-2687. Please include the title, author, format (book/audio/video) and your name, department, and campus address. Your selections will be campus-mailed to you with a standard check out time of two weeks.
Search for Resources
You may view the entire Learning and Development Library index or search the Resource Center database to assist you in finding a selection. Also, search Books24x7®Referenceware® for an online collection of over 8000 professional books, searchable by business or IT topics, authors or titles. Read entire books online!
