Deadlines

fyi will be published on the following schedule. Deadlines for news items are listed in parentheses.

Editor's note: Effective October 2006, we will publish fyi twice a month. During the winter break and summer, we will scale back to one issue per month.

We will update the Achievements section in the first issue of each month only. If you are a regular contributor to this section, you can continue to submit a monthly roundup by the copy due dates for the first issues. We are including the deadlines for the second issues in case you have an article or idea you’d like to submit for consideration in other sections of fyi.

June 16 (copy due June 2)

July 14 (copy due June 30)

August 18 (copy due August 4)

Submission criteria

Publications and Creations: This section contains citations of books,
chapters in books, journal articles, reviews in journals, art exhibitions,
musical compositions, or other creations of University of Iowa faculty and
staff. Citations should be no older than three months.

Offices and Awards: This section includes prizes, awards, and appointments
to state and national organizations of University of Iowa faculty and staff.
