W-2 form web sign-up
It’s time to sign up for electronic delivery
of W-2 year-end tax forms next January. On the Human
Resources self-service site at https://hris.uiowa.edu/portal,
click on “Form Delivery Options” and “End
of Year W-2.”
Other forms also can be sent electronically. The
electronic forms will be available on the site at
least one week before they will be printed and mailed.
New transcript service
The University has joined the Campus Direct network
to provide transcript-ordering services via telephone
and the Internet. The service is available to students
as well as alumni or others who took classes at the
University.
To order a transcript, visit www.gettranscript.com
or call (888) 260-5500. Service is available 24 hours
a day, seven days a week. For more information, see www.campusdirect.com.
Salaries on self-serve site
Annual salary letters, which give employees’ salary
and benefits information for the 2004 fiscal year,
may be viewed on the Human Resources self-service
site at https://hris.uiowa.edu/portal.
Employees who worked half-time or greater as of
July 1, 2003, may access their letters using their
HawkID and Hawk ID password. The letters will be
available on the site for approximately six months.
They are no longer mailed to faculty and staff.
DEO workshop registration
Deans, directors, and departmental executive officers
(DEOs) may register now for the 2003-04 DEO workshops.
Information is available at www.uiowa.edu/~provost/deos.
Registration materials automatically will be sent
to deans, directors, and DEOs.
People not in those categories who would like to
attend a workshop may e-mail jan-swartzendruber@uiowa.edu one week before the workshop.
