Six candidates for the position of UI provost will
visit campus in December. While on campus, each
candidate will participate in two public events:
an open forum and a symposium focused on his/her
scholarly activity.
The search committee invites members of the UI
community to attend one of these public components
and share
evaluations with search committee cochairs Kate Gfeller
and James Torner. An evaluation form is available on
the search committee web site at www.uiowa.edu/provostsearch.
The first of the two-day interviews took place
Dec. 1-2. The remaining interviews are Dec. 4-5,
8-9, 11-12,
15-16, and 17-18. The forums will be held from 3:30
to 4:30 p.m. in Pappajohn Business Building on the
first day of each interview; the public symposia will
be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on the second day of
each interview, also in Pappajohn Business Building.
(Rooms will be announced later.)
The candidates’ CVs will be posted online at
noon the day prior to each candidate’s scheduled
interview. |
