National Volunteer Blood
Donor Month
Start the new year by giving the gift of life—donate
blood at the DeGowin Blood Center at UI Hospitals and
Clinics in January to celebrate National Volunteer
Blood Donor Month.
According to Mitch Overton, donor recruitment coordinator,
December and January are the two hardest months to
find blood donors due to illness and bad weather.
To
schedule a blood donation appointment or to learn
more, contact the DeGowin Blood Center
at (35)6-2058
or www.uihealthcare.com/depts/degowinbloodcenter.

new course management system that will eventually
replace
WebCT and Blackboard; creating/maintaining Web
sites with Dreamweaver; digital images with Fireworks;
and item writing for tests and quizzes.
