Abstracts due for health poster session

The UI Interdisciplinary Health Group is sponsoring the 7th Annual Student Interdisciplinary Health Research Poster Session Thursday, April 21, 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m., in the Atrium of Eckstein Medical Research Building.

Students should submit research abstracts by Friday, April 1, to kathy-holeton@uiowa.edu. Those submitting abstracts will be notified regarding acceptance by April 11.

Emergency Ride Home Program offered

Parking and Transportation’s Commuter Programs now is offering an Emergency Ride Home Program (ERH). Faculty and staff participating in a qualifying ridesharing program can take advantage of this service in case of an emergency.

Programs that qualify include employee vanpool, The Rideshare Incentive Program (TRIP), or employee bus pass holders. If an illness or emergency arises, participants can take a taxi home and be reimbursed for the cost of the ride. ERH can be used three times each year and cannot exceed $100 in reimbursements.
