President’s Outreach and Engagement Award
The first President’s Award for State Outreach and Public Engagement will be presented in 2005. The award will honor faculty, staff, and students (individuals or groups) who demonstrate exemplary outreach to the State of Iowa. Three $1,000 stipend awards will be given: one each for faculty, staff, and students.

Summer enrichment program for kids
A six-week summer program for speech/language and reading enrichment will be offered
June 13-21 at Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Center.
The program, sponsored by Eastern Iowa Scottish RiteCare, provides one-on-one assistance in speech and reading for children aged pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.
