Why she contributes: “My first memories of The University of Iowa are of listening to men’s basketball games on the radio during the early 1960s. I fell in love with Iowa, and when I decided to continue my education, I knew that The University of Iowa was the only place for me.
“As a student and staff member, I’ve seen many major campus improvements made possible because of private donations. I’ve been donating ever since the Carver-Hawkeye Arena Campaign in 1980. I choose to donate through a monthly payroll deduction. That’s an easy way to give to the UI Foundation’s current campaign, and I would urge everyone to join me in giving back to The University of Iowa.” |
