InfoHawk offers new
search feature
UI Libraries is offering a new service in InfoHawk
that will allow searchers to locate books and materials
that recently have been acquired by UI Libraries.
To use the service, go to the Info-Hawk Advanced
Search screen in the UI Libraries catalog, type in
your search terms, and choose the “Recent Acquisitions” time
frame desired from the pull-down menu.
The service will expand to include additional services
over the course of the year.
Computer workshops scheduled
Spaces are available in the NExTT (New Experiences
with Teaching Technology) workshops scheduled for
Aug. 9-13.
The workshops, offered by Information Technology
Services–Academic Technologies, offer hands-on
practice with a variety of tools, including WebCT,
Blackboard, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, PowerPoint, Professor’s
Assistant, and digital video.
