UI logo web site updated

Users of the graphic identity web site (www.uiowa.edu/graphics) now will find four PowerPoint templates there, and they will want to note a change in ability to download graphics.

The four new PowerPoint templates include the University’s dome logo and wordmark. Visitors to the templates section of the graphic identity web site (www.uiowa.edu/graphics/powerpoint-template/index.html) can view the designs plus get information on how to download and modify them.

In addition, in order to better monitor the use of the University’s logo and wordmark, the graphics on the graphic identity web site will soon be only downloadable to campus users with a uiowa.edu e-mail address. Before an outside company or person may use the UI logo and wordmark, they must first contact either the Iowa Licensing Program, (38)4-2000, if it is for a commercial product that will be sold in the marketplace, or they may contact Lesanne Fliehler, (38)4-0042, lesanne-fliehler@uiowa.edu.
