Offices and Awards
Keela Herr, professor and chair of the adult and gerontology area of study in the College of Nursing, was named a 2007 Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow.
David Lohman, professor of psychological and quantitative foundations in the College of Education, received the 2007 Distinguished Scholar Award from the National Association for Gifted Children.
Jerry Schnoor, professor of civil and environmental engineering in the College of Engineering, was appointed chair of the new State of Iowa Climate Change Advisory Council.
Jerry Suls, professor of psychology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, was named chair of the behavioral medicine interventions and outcomes study section of the National Institutes of Health Center for Scientific Review through 2009.
Susannah Wood, assistant professor of counseling, rehabilitation, and student development in the College of Education, was elected vice president of the Iowa Association for Counselor Education and Supervision.
