Health Science Track

The Interdepartmental Studies: Health Science Track (BA, undergraduate degree) is a Pre-approved Plan of Study that combines a generalized health background, with a variety of well-matched Emphasis Area choices: Multidisciplinary Science, Entrepreneurial, Aging, Sexuality Studies, Global Health, or Health Coach.  Students also have the option of proposing a Self-defined Emphasis Area to the Faculty Advisory Committee.

Students are required to complete a minimum of 22 semester hours of Foundation Coursework, and 15 semester hours in one Emphasis Area.

Self-defined (Emphasis Area #7)

Students interested in creating their own emphasis area are encouraged to submit a proposal to the Interdepartmental Studies Advisory Committee.  Proposals should consist of 15 semester hours of advanced coursework, and a description of area of study.
