Teaching & Research Facilities

The Department of Integrative Physiology is housed in the Field House, adjacent to The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Currently, we have seven renovated state-of-the-art research laboratories. Sample pictures will be available soon.

Our teaching facilities include dedicated teaching laboratories for anatomy, integrative and exercise physiology, motor control or neuroscience, a teaching seminar room and an Information Technology Center (ITC). Our ITC is located in 402 Field House and includes 20 PC computer workstations. Students enrolled in Anatomy Lab (27:053 and 27:151) and Exercise Physiology Lab (27:142) use the workstations to supplement their regular instructional activities. The computer software for the anatomy and physiology laboratories include ADAM Interactive Anatomy and ADAM Interactive Physiology.
