What is I-Renew@UI?
The UI chapter of the Iowa Renewable Energy association is a student organization determined to
educate and spread the word about the benefits of renewable
energy and sustainable living.
Who should join
I-Renew@UI?
Students who are:
- concerned with ever-increasing energy prices
- worried about foreign dependence on oil
- disturbed by recent reports of climate change
- unhappy about the
increasing lack of real Iowa winters
- sad about the polar bears
drowning due to the melting Arctic ice shelf
- curious about new energy
technologies
- interested in alternative energy and conservation
