Students attending Session 1, 2008, will have the opportunity to participate in the inaugural year of Between the Lines, a program that will bring 12 high school-aged writers to Iowa City from six different Arabic-speaking countries to participate in joint classes, activities and events with the Iowa Young Writers' Studio. Every summer, 120 young writers from across the country come together to share their work, practice craft, and improve their writing in Iowa City, Iowa, home of the University of Iowa.
