Nine G-4 Mac digital editing workstations equipped with the following:
- Latest version of Final Cut Pro
- Live-Type Production
- Microsoft Word
- E-Z News (for writing scripts and producing newscast rundowns)
- Removable hard drives (to facilitate student mobility between machines in the lab)
The lab also oversees check-out procedures for the TV news field equipment:
- 18 digital field units
- 18 digital Panasonic XL-1 and XL-1s video camcorders
- Wireless lavaliere and wireless hand-held microphones
- Wired lavalieres and hand-held mics
- Boom mics
- 18 tripods
- Camcorder batteries
