Finding McWOP

All McWOP presentations will be held in Gerber Lounge on the third floor of the English-Philosophy Building (EPB). EPB is located along Iowa Avenue, on the east side of the river from Riverside Drive.

To reach EPB from Interstate 80, turn south at Exit 244 (Dubuque Street). Follow Dubuque south until you reach Market Street. Turn right on Market and go three blocks west to Madison. Turn left on Madison and go two blocks south to Iowa Avenue. Turn right on Iowa Avenue. EPB will be on your left, just before the river.

However, if you are driving, you will not be able to find parking along this route. Instead of turning on Iowa, continue south on Madison. You can get to the back parking lot from there.

If you have parked elsewhere on campus, we suggest you take the free Cambus service to the Main Library, then walk about one block northwest to EPB.

You will be able to park in the lot behind EPB at any time after 3 pm on Friday; it will cost 50 cents per hour. If you arrive before 3 pm, you will want to investigate other parking options. (We suggest parking at the IMU Ramp, and either walking the few blocks from the IMU -- you can get maps at the information desk inside -- or taking the Cambus to the library and walking from there.) The parking lot is accessible from Madison or Burlington.
