The University of Iowa Saxophone Ensemble is directed by Dr. Kenneth Tse. It involves the best students from the saxophone studio and includes sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass saxophones. The ensemble performs music of a variety of styles and difficulties and at times accompanies guest soloists. A public concert is given at the end of each school year. Besides the concerts within the community, the ensemble also travels to perform in various regional and national conferences.
