Training

training activity

Since the early 1980's, the National Resource Center

for Family Centered Practice has provided a broad

spectrum of family-centered training and technical

assistance to both community and government agencies.

Over 80,000 people have been trained, including administrators, supervisors, practitioners, parents, foster parents, and community members.

The NRC/FCP has provided family-based training in

all 50 states, as well as Canada, Mexico, Guatemala,

Australia, Great Britain, and Russia. On-site training programs are individualized for agency/community needs, and workshops are offered periodically at selected sites around the country. We currently offer many training programs, which are tailored to meet the desired outcomes of contracting agencies.
