Carver Trust Grant to help UI create high-tech river observatory
A $900,000 grant to the University of Iowa Foundation from the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust of Muscatine, Iowa, will enable the UI College of Engineering to create an environmental and hydrologic observatory on the Mississippi River using state-of-the-art sensors and communications technology.
