- The University Fleet Services office has reestablished a temporary office in a construction trailer at its original location. Its fuel site is fully operational and the hours remain the same: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its shop has relocated to the north end of the CAMBUS bus storage facility located next to its trailer. The phone number for Pat Smith, maintenance supervisor, is still335-5102.
- Furniture, Household Items Available. The Association of Campus Ministers and the Aliber/Hillel Jewish Student Center at the University of Iowa have received many donations and offers to donate furniture and household goods. Anyone in need of mattresses, tables, chairs, towels, clothes, or anything else to help them resettle after the tornado may contact Jerry Sorokin, Hillel director, at 319-338-0778, gerald-sorokin@uiowa.edu. Goods may be picked up at the Aliber/Hillel Jewish Student Center, 122 E. Market St., weekdays between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- The Iowa City Crisis Center operates a food bank and is issuing storm victims vouchers for clothing and small household items from Goodwill and The Crowded Closet. The Crowded Closet, 1121 Gilbert Court, is open 12 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 319-351-0140 for information.

Volunteer opportunities: Call the United Way at 2-1-1 for information about how to volunteer with Iowa City organizations assisting with cleanup and recovery. You may also contact the University of Iowa Student Government office if you want to volunteer or need help from a volunteer, at 319-335-3860.
