The Clinical Trials office facilitates and increases industry-sponsored clinical trials at The University of Iowa. The office processes studies which are supported by a corporation and which involve evaluation of a technology or product. These studies include preclinical studies and Phase I-IV human studies. We are committed to serving our tripartite client base — the public, researchers, and industry. - Human Subjects Office
The UI Human Subjects Office provides administrative support for the University of Iowa Institutional Review Boards. An Institutional Review Board is a group of individuals charged with reviewing proposed research involving human subjects to ensure the protection of those subjects and compliance with federal human subjects regulations. The University of Iowa has two such review boards, each consisting of faculty, staff, and representatives from the Iowa City community. - Office of the Vice President for Research
