• Center for Teaching
  The Center for Teaching seeks to improve the teaching and learning experiences of members of the University of Iowa community.
• Clinical Trials Office
  The Clinical Trials office facilitates and increases industry-sponsored clinical trials at The University of Iowa. The office processes studies which are supported by a corporation and which involve evaluation of a technology or product. These studies include preclinical studies and Phase I-IV human studies. We are committed to serving our tripartite client base — the public, researchers, and industry.
• Human Subjects Office
  The UI Human Subjects Office provides administrative support for the University of Iowa Institutional Review Boards. An Institutional Review Board is a group of individuals charged with reviewing proposed research involving human subjects to ensure the protection of those subjects and compliance with federal human subjects regulations. The University of Iowa has two such review boards, each consisting of faculty, staff, and representatives from the Iowa City community.

• Office of Faculty Affairs
  The Office of Faculty Affairs Provides support and advocacy for the growth and development of faculty in their chosen areas of teaching, research, clinical care, service and/or administration.
• Faculty Career Development
  The Faculty Career Development Program provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement, instructional and skill enhancement, leadership development, institutional understanding, and recognition and awards. the program is designed to provide services to beginning, mid-career and senior faculty.
• Office of Consultation and Research in Medical Education (OCRME)
  OCRME staff members provide a broad range of services to support medical education and scholarship including services for research and evaluation, curriculum design and teacher development.
• Office of Scientific Affairs and Graduate Programs
  The Office of Scientific Affairs and Graduate Programs oversees the research administration and graduate programs of the Carver College of Medicine.
