What is the UPACS timeline?
- UPACS containing copyrighted information
We request that you give us your materials four to six weeks before you need
the UPAC. Some copyright permissions can take up to eight weeks to be granted.
- UPACS with no copyrighted information included
These UPACS, if fewer than 500 pages, can be on the shelf in as little as one week.
Do I need to bring in originals?
We do ask you to provide original copies for newly created UPACS, or if there
are additions to a previously used UPAC. If your UPAC has been used in the past,
and has not changed, we do not require original materials. We store all of your
UPACS materials electronically for easy reorder. We can even store color copies!
Who owns the copyright?
We must investigate and request permission to copy materials we include in UPACS.
You or an associate may have written some of the materials in your pack. If these
works have been published previously by an outside source, we must receive the
publisher's permission or a signed affidavit from you stating that we have
permission to copy the work.
