Funding Requests

Opportunity at Iowa provides funding to University of Iowa students, faculty and staff for intiatives that support diversity recruiting efforts. These funding awards are grouped into the following categories:

Graduate Student Travel Awards - Opportunity at Iowa invites graduate students at the University of Iowa to apply for grants of up to $300 for travel outside and within the United States to further their education in promoting diversity on campus.

Special Programs and Events - Individuals, programs, or departments are invited to submit requests for support of special programs or events that support diversity on campus.

Summer Project Awards, Major - Directors of Summer Programs are invited to apply for Opportunity at Iowa co-sponsorship to enhance participation of minority students in their preparation for college or university.
