Donations to the Department

Thank you to each of you who have donated money to the Department of Sociology Gift Fund. We are tremendously grateful for your donations, which have been crucial for helping us foster excellent teaching and research in the past year. Donations from alumni, faculty and friends in 2006 helped us to fund graduate student registration and travel to professional conferences to present their research and for membership dues for the Midwest Sociological Society for the first year cohort. These programs are vital for our students‘ development, and without your help they would be impossible. Thank you!

Sociology Department Honor Roll

This honor roll gratefully recognizes graduates, faculty, and friends who contributed $100 or more from January 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006, to the Department of Sociology through The University of Iowa Foundation, the preferred chan-nel for private support of all areas of the University. Contributors are listed alphabetically. Those who qualified for membership in the Liberal Arts and Sciences honor clubs from January 1, 2005, through June 30, 2006, are recognized at the following level: (DC): Dean's Club (annual support of $1,000 through $2,499) (PC): Patrons Circle (annual sup-port of $2,500 or more).
