The Flying LindyHawks are the University of Iowa's first competitive swing dance performance troupe. The team was formed in the fall of 2005 with the intent to further educate students and the surrounding community of our nations first original dance form. The LindyHawks are dedicated to the promotion and education of swing dancing in and around Iowa City. The team has performed at several local events and have also been invited to perform, demo and instruct at many regional functions.
