President - Katherine "The Great" Jochum

Queen Kitten Kate joined the UI Swing Dance Club in Fall 2006 and has been swingin’ ever since. She is a third year student studying English, Spanish and anything else that piques her interest. A dancer for most of her life, Kate really enjoys the atmosphere of the swing scene and meeting all the other cool cats from around the globe. When she is not on the dance floor, Kate is practicing dancing, teaching dancing, or thinking about dancing. In the future, Kate hopes to continue to spread her love of the art of dance to the world, while also working as a college professor or museum curator.
