Publishing on the ITS Central Web Server
Disk Quotas
Each Central Web Server account has a quota of disk storage space which
is available for storing files. You may need to know how much of your
disk quota you have used. If you exceed your quota, you will not be able
to upload any files to your account. If you are nearing or have already
gone over quota, delete items that you don't need or copy files you want
to keep to your hard drive or alternate storage.
The default quota for web sites organizations recognized by the Student
Senate is 5 MB.
The default quota for all other central server web sites (courses, departments
etc.) is 10 MB. This will be raised upon request. Direct requests to webmaster@www.uiowa.edu.
You can easily check your disk quota and the disk space currently used
by filling in your loginID and Password at Central
Server Account Management Utilities web page.
