CAPRA: Computer Access Promoting Retention and Achievement

CAPRA is a program lending University-owned computers to student parents on a per-semester basis. This program is funded by the Office of the Provost in recognition of the fact that student parents often have time and childcare commitments that restrict their ability to use other University computing resources, such as ITCs.

Now in its 5th year, CAPRA has a limited number of laptop and desktop computers available for loan (both PCs and Macs). A deposit of $25 is required at the time of check-out, and the student becomes responsible for the computer for the duration of the loan. The deposit is refunded in full when the computer is returned in the same condition in which it was checked out.

Please fill out the form at the right if you would like more information and an application for a CAPRA computer.

Yes, please send me a CAPRA application!
