Tiffany Flowers is currently a 2nd year master's student in Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Iowa. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Tiffany's previous experience includes a practicum at Lifeskills, where she worked to include individuals with disabilities in the community through accomplishing their goals. She worked at evening club to provide support and crisis counseling. In addition, Tiffany completed a practicum at Heart of Iowa, providing individual substance abuse counseling and facilitating groups.
Tiffany's research and therapy interest includes a wholistic approach to empowerment, self-acceptance, and identity development. Tiffany's therapeutic approach aims to resolve unexpressed feelings to create awareness of present-day impact, which will allow the creation of positive change and acceptance of self.
