Jessica Schultz

Jessica Schultz is currently a 3rd year doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Iowa. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Central College in Iowa.  Previously, Jessica provided individual counseling to students at the University Counseling Service on the campus of the University of Iowa.

Jessica's clinical interests include women's issues, health concerns, the mind-body-spirit connection, and interpersonal relationships. She also conducts research in the areas of health psychology, forgiveness, and spirituality. Jessica has worked with individuals dealing with a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, and life transitions. She works from the understanding that individual, cultural, and societal influences significantly impact our lives. Jessica feels the most powerful aspect of therapy is the counseling relationships and works collaboratively with clients toward empowerment, positive change, and growth.
