Diversity Dialogue Leaders provide a safe space for people to engage in a facilitated dialogue across difference, about difference. Leaders are trained to implement an 8-week curriculum that guides participants' exploration of privilege, oppression, and cultural competency.
As a Diversity Dialogue Leader, you learn how to provide an open environment for people to share, ask questions, and explore personal assumptions. (Leaders need to attend ALL the training sessions.)
Training for Diversity Dialogue Leaders is held twice a year: near the beginning of the fall and spring semesters of the academic year (usually early September / early February).
To sign up for training, please call (319) 335-1486, fill out the form at right, or print out and send in this form, and let us know if any arrangements for accommodations need to be made in order for you to participate. Space is limited, so register early!
