SERVICES AVAILABLE TO ALL UI STUDENTS

AT THE MAIN WRITING CENTER (Located in 110 EPB):

(8-Week Summer Session unless indicated)

 

Enrollment Hours: 9:00 AM-2:00 PM M-TH

--Enroll for twice a week sessions for 8 weeks

--To enroll, please come in person to the front desk of the Writing Center (110 EPB)

--Summer enrollment hours begin on Tuesday, June 10th (First day of 8-Week Summer Session)

--Summer enrollment hours continue from June 10th to August 1st

 

Appointment Hours: Available by advance appointment only

--Sign up for a half-hour session once per week on an as-needed basis (an appointment is required)

--To sign up for an appointment, e-mail writing-center@uiowa.edu, call 335-0188, or come to the front desk of the Writing Center (110 EPB)

--Summer appointments continue from June 10th to August 1st

 

E-Mail Tutoring: Available on-line M-F

--Receive response usually within 2 business days of document submission

--To submit, follow instructions at http://www.uiowa.edu/~writingc/email.html

--E-mail tutoring is available during all Summer Sessions at a limited capacity (at some times, we will require longer than two business days to respond)

 

Feel free to come with drafts, outlines, or just ideas.

We help with any stage of the writing process.
