Below are typical writing center scenes of tutors and their students talking about the students' writing and ways to improve it. Students bring in their original course assignment sheets and discuss their interpretations of the assignments with tutors. They also typically read their assignment drafts or portions of them aloud to tutors to see and hear what aspects of their writing (organization, logic, phrasing) still need work.
