An
Invitation to Evaluate Your Work
In as much detail as possible, please evaluate the work you have
done in the Writing Center this semester. Comment on your teacher
and how she or he has helped you. Describe what he or she did and
the ways in which you benefited.
What writing projects did you work on? Do you recall any invitations
or assignments that were particularly helpful to you? Do you remember
any particular activities (such as copyreading) you did that were
especially useful? What were they? Were there any techniques your
teacher suggested that were helpful in your writing?
Has there been any change in your confidence about yourself as a
writer and your attitude towards writing? If so, why do you think
these changes occurred? Have there been changes in your writing
itself? If so, what are they? What aspects of writing do you think
you still need to work on?
What suggestions do you have for how to improve the Writing Center's
service to students? Do you have any suggestions for how your teacher
could improve his or her work with students? Please write at least
a page or two.
You
don't need to put your name on this evaluation, but please put your
lab teacher's name and the semester (e.g., Spring 2000) at the top
of the first page. Thank you for your response! You're welcome to
enroll in the Writing Center next semester! Let us know if you have
any questions.
