REPORT: Journalism students scoring higher on ACT
A study released by the Newspaper Association of America Foundation tracked more than 31,000 students in 50 states and several foreign countries. The result: Journalism students have the edge in ACT scores, GPA and English scores. Click here for a PDF summary of the report.
Dates set for 2008 Fall Conferences
• The State Conference is Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Drake University in Des Moines.
• The Regional Conference is Tuesday, Oct. 28 at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.

The submission deadline to nominate someone for Administrator of the Year, Rod Vahl Teacher of the Year and our most prestigious award, The Stratton, passed May 1.
