Support networks

• International Programs—This University program provides an array of international, academic, and cultural opportunities for the entire University community.
• Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS)—This University office provides services to international students and scholars through immigration and personal advising and through cross-cultural programming and training.
• Nationality Organizations—These student organizations are organized based on a student's nationality.
• UI Student Organizations—There are more than 400 student organizations at Iowa. Those of interest to international students may include the Organization for the Active Support of International Students (OASIS), the African Student Organization, the India Student Association, or the Vietnamese Student Association.

• Office of Equal Opportunity & Diversity—This office supports and enhances the University's commitment to recruiting and retaining a diverse community of faculty, staff, and students.
• UI Center for Human Rights—The mission of this group is to help in the promotion and protection of human rights at home and abroad.
